Grand Bassa Electoral District number 5 representative Thomas Goshua has donated three motorcycles to the Kpobarn Statutory District.
The donation, made over the weekend, includes one motorcycle designated for the Statutory District Development Officer and two for youth leaders in the area.
The gesture is part of Rep. Goshua’s broader commitment to enhancing mobility, communication, and service delivery at the grassroots level.
At the handover ceremony, Rep. Goshua underscored the importance of equipping local leaders with the necessary tools to execute their responsibilities effectively.
“Our youth leaders and development officers are at the heart of community progress. By supporting their work, we invest directly in the future of our district,” he said.
Local officials and community representatives welcomed the donation with enthusiasm, praising the lawmaker’s continued efforts to address the challenges facing remote parts of the county.
The recipients of the motorcycles expressed deep gratitude, pledging to use the equipment to expand outreach, coordinate development projects, and engage more effectively with residents across the district.
“This support is more than just transportation it’s a tool for progress,” said Tom Varney a youth leader. “We now have the means to reach more communities and implement initiatives that matter to our people.”
The contribution highlights Rep. Goshua’s ongoing dedication to infrastructure improvement and youth empowerment in Grand Bassa County.
As the district continues to navigate post-conflict recovery and development, such interventions are seen as crucial in bridging service delivery gaps and promoting inclusive growth.
